I see that Crop is a function listed on the menu of the third top dial. Is that a 1:1, or are others offered?

UHS-I can transfer up to 104 Mbyte/s. So with the JPG-Files beeing 15 Mbyte and the Buffer for 37 RAWs, up to 6fps without Buffer could be possible with UHS-I.
Since Slot 1 ist UHS-II, not much to worry about for RAW

Wow!

The camera looks great! But man, Ricoh, what a product launch! I don’t remember a Pentax product release like this one. All their product info sheets, all their graphics, all their marketing assets, it’s all beautiful, all well done. They are doing a wonderful job of telling their story, telling us who they are, who they want to be. I love this quote:

As the pioneer of SLR cameras in Japan, PENTAX has devoted all its assets
— its philosophy, technologies and passion —
to the development of this remarkable camera.

I’ll be spending some money… I bet I won’t be the only one.

But which color?

Additional foot notes to my previous post regarding the K-3III Operating Manual:
- Operating manual (page 22) lists: "Subject Recognition" (page 62) under "AF with Viewfinder"... and it lists "Face Detection" (page 64) under "AF with Live View".
- No where within the owners manual was I able to find any reference specifically to 'eye autofocus' (suggesting to me that the text is based on carry-over from prior products and has not been revisited to specifically address the reported enhanced capability of the K3 Mark III).
- Subject recognition requires the "[AF Active Area]" is set to "[Auto Area]" or "[Zone Select]".

I want to say the ambassador video with a Korean portrait photographer had some discussion of focusing.

It looks fantastic. Plenty of waiting, but it looks like they’ve delivered on many of the major asks and then some.

Holy monkey! I'm blown away of images! So much DR and it is aps-c. I'm blown away with that AF performanc too. This is what we have been waiting for. Going to sell of a bunch of old stuff and get my self one of these.

Expensive? yes.

Same price as K-1 and a bit more? Yes.

as good images as K-1 and heaps better AF? you bet. It is incredible. Look at those tones in those pictures. Good bye DFA 15-30, hello 11-18! As well as that new 16-50. This has been decided right now.

Me too. I feel my dalliance with medium format is over - it's all aboard the K-mount train!
