I upgraded my K-3 yesterday and I feel the AF more accurate than before. I've tested the FA trio and DA*55. All of them are improved in AF accuracy. I think that this upgrade applies to all speed lens over f2. This is the biggest improvment regarding AF on my K-3 so far.

Need to try various AF configurations on K-70 and K-1 with this new firmware. But in general i think the biggest firmware improvements I have when I buy new camera (even with 1.00 firmware installed).

I am very interested is there any new algorithm for the old hardware on K1 in the latest 1.54 upgrade so that other FA lenses (not just enrollment for New Limited) have improved AFS and AFC,
I have successfully replaced the old 1.53 software with a new 1.54 but I do not have Limitetd lenses to compare with my modest range of F and FA and Tokina atx pro sv lenses,
I tried FA80-320 / 4.5-5.6 at 320/9 with ISO 400 at 1/600 in combination with AF540FGZll in HSS, everything worked normally and I didn't notice any changes considering the new 1.54 software, I also tried from F50 / 1.7 to 50/2 at 1/50 with ISO400 and everything worked normally and I didn't notice any changes, I did rehearsals in the room at the table to make sure that the software upgrade was successful

I think it would be appropriate after the camera has been out longer perhaps. Which features did you think might work in the KP?
Auto focus algorithms would be nice I don't expect them to work miracles but all goodies are gratefully accepted 😁

Everyone's comments on the improved performance! Very exciting! I remember seeing in the development videos that the K-3 III would have improved tracking 'even with lenses previously not believed to be good at tracking'.
I wonder if this is referring to that specifically?

Fuji body updates are tiny and incremental. The K-3 iii is a completely different camera, so I doubt the KP will be capable of supporting many, if any, of its new features.
Ah well when the X-T4 came out the X-T3 got a huge update which included some pretty nifty AF upgrades 😁

It doesn't sound like the K-3 III has a separate dedicated focusing module (I believe the D500 does), so perhaps these AF features are indeed possible with a firmware update (?)

I keep notes of some of my activities and experience with my laptop. One of my notes is this:

If Windows says SD card is write-protected when it is not, move the Lock switch on the card part way between Lock and Unlock.
Thanks bxf, I'll give that a try.
