Don't forget to re-do any AF fine adjustments for your lenses
At least for me on my K-3, all my settings were reset back to zero after doing the firmware update.
Ow, thanks for that.
It makes sense if they changed quite some things.

Not unexpected if they tweaked the af algorithims.
Indeed but I probably wouldn't have thought about that.

No problem! It's just one of those often overlooked things. Figured I'd mention it to save some people a headache.

Nooooooo.

Anyone have a golden calibration method that takes no time at all?

I just checked my K3, it had lost the info, my KP however, AF fine tune was set to off but when I switched it to three the settings were there. I guess I still need to check all my lenses though just in case the algorithm has changed! My wife will be delighted

Anyone notice any performance differences with the new FW that are not lens related?

AF fine adjustment didn't change on my KP, but I'll probably check if any lenses need their AF tuning adjusted.

The Dot Tune method is pretty quick.

I just purchased a gently used K-1 and have it updated. Really hate to see no updates for the K-S2 though.

The only non lens related improvement I noticed is live view with face detect. It does seem to be better at tracking.

Good reminder. My settings on the KP appear to have been retained, it even retained my menu position, however I will do a quick check of the AF, I was wanting to re-check the 15 Ltd anyhow.
