| New Theta plug-in: Quick Transfer Ready
Quick Transfer Ready is a plug-in for Theta V (firmware ≥ 3.50.1) and Theta Z1 (firmware ≥ 1.60.1) that Ricoh Imaging released on 19 April 2021. This is the 14th official plug-in. Notification of the release of a new RICOH THETA plug-in | RICOH THETA This plug-in applies top/bottom correction to the recorded videos. When the video is saved as dual fisheye, stitching is performed in addition to top/bottom correction. As the video is converted inside Theta, shooting is not available while this plug-in is in use. Normally, such corrections are performed during file transfer from the camera to the smartphone. By using this plug-in before transferring video files to a smartphone, the data transfer time is reduced.
