Not totally relevant, but indicative - when SRS got their first batch of K-1s they posted a picture of +/- 70 K-1 boxes in their store

Ricoh Imaging Square Paris (previously known as La Boutique Pentax) will receive tomorrow 23 April their first batch of K-3 Mark III cameras.

I bought my Atari ST from SRS. My Spectrum 48K might have been from there too. I don't remember. This wasn't last week or anything. It was a while ago.

Glad to see they are still in business and the paving stones of Watford are still covered in the characteristic sheen of the British weather.

Great! I believe Ricoh's European distribution center is in ~~Belgium~~ the Netherlands (corrected a mistake because of a memory from pre-Ricoh days), so this may mean mine is on its way to me as well (pre-order confirmed 2nd April)... So I'll be keeping a close eye on my mailbox.

I did order it at the B&M store that I have been going to for decennia, and where not all the sales people are 100% in the digital age yet. So perhaps they won't get around mailing me immediately today. If so, I'll have a week-end of fun with my old camera, but I'll be silently jealous of all members that are playing with their mark III's.

My answer from Ricoh came from “luzernsolutions”, but the Ricoh office for Austria is in Hamburg, Germany...

The cameras have landed here in Greece already from Wednesday... If things were different I would go to play with one until mine arrives.
