It says "Best APS-C Camera Expert", not DSLR. So mirrorless included.

Good question. At least the Fujifilm X-T4 I'd guess, perhaps the Olympus E-M1iii if we're stretching (or shrinking?) a bit the meaning of APS-C...

Good publicity is not to be shunned, no matter how the category is defined.

The X-T3 was the TIPA "Advanced" award a couple years ago, so that might be what they considered the X-T4.

Or maybe not, because it looks to me like there is a lack of consistency in category criteria, which AFAICT can only be inferred, as it is not explained anywhere.

There are separate categories for m/43 stuff.

Anyway, I hope Pentax will use this "award" in their advertising.

As long as it got the award - and in advertising they don't have to tell how many cameras qualified - it doesn't matter.
An award - supported by advertising - is good all by itself, without any explanation.

Yes - but perhaps having a "Best APS-C Camera Expert" and a "Best M43 Camera Expert" in the same year would be too much so they chose one.

We're splitting hairs, though; the reasons are irrelevant, and the award doesn't tell us anything about the camera. It's just some food for marketing.

For someone who would not acknowledge the pioneering role in four-thirds format of the Pentax 110, you've now moved from extreme narrowness to outright sloppiness.

I’d say that it is deserved award. I did buy K-3III and have been using it. Once you put your eye to that OVF and look throught it and begin to shoot. It truly delivers. As well as it does give to you a true feeling of taking photos.

Once you put your eye to that OVF and look throught it and begin to shoot. It truly delivers. As well as it does give to you a true feeling of taking photos.
