1) Is an eventual K-1 iii considered, and is it still treated as a field camera first and foremost?

2) Do the plans for new lenses (particularly telephoto) involve in-lens SR as mentioned in a recent patent?

Will the K-3 III's OVF tech be in the next iteration of the K-1?

Will they add more features to the K-3III with future firmware updates or will they only be the standard stability updates?

Will (do) they answer technical questions?

If so, I would like their comment on the +/-3% error I find on shutter speeds that are 1/3 stop above & below that standard speeds (lots of data here: Shutter Speed Measurements: Pentax (K-1, K-3, Q7, *istD) and Canon (G15, Rebel XS) - PentaxForums.com).

I guess that the answer is probably known. But: has Ricoh really decided that the Pentax Q is dead? Or will Ricoh give any more chance for this system?

Mine is as much an industry question as one pertinent only to Ricoh: What is the path for new entrants to photography, that will, in particular, attract young people to taking it up with stand-alone cameras (and, presumably, away from phone cameras as the sole device), now that the point-and-shoot market is virtually dead and the entry-level ILC camera market seems to be shrinking as brands move up-market?

Would Ricoh consider an updated set of K-mount macro extension tubes with all the electrical contacts?

Why do they think a newcomer to the world of photography would pick a Pentax DSLR over a mirrorless from one of the majors given that they're all the rage these days?

Can we expect firmware upgrades to the K-3III to add new functionality? Especially given that the delay between new camera releases is significant (which is not at all a bad thing)

1) The K-1 series is technically feature-rich and provides excellent still-image quality for a great price. Your own language about these cameras suggests that they are targeted toward photographers who often work on a tripod and who favor subjects like architecture, landscape, and still-life. Have you considered developing any D FA tilt-shift lenses? Because this sort of lens needs only to excel at optical performance and mechanical design, rather than auto-focus performance, I believe it would be a tremendously valuable addition to the lens lineup for a camera system which already appeals to photographers who appreciate technical precision.

2) What is the long-term vision for the D FA* and D FA / FA Limited lens series? Current and soon-to-be released focal lengths include: 21mm, approximately 24–35mm, 31mm, 43mm, 50mm, 77mm, 85mm, 70–200mm; there seems to be a pattern in alternating focal lengths between the two lineups. So, would developing a 24mm and 35mm D FA*, as well as a longer than 85mm Limited, complete both lens series?

3) Are there any plans for expanding or updating the Pentax flash system?

1. Now that the DA560 is discontinued, what are Ricohs plans for the super telephoto segment? Lens(es), teleconverters...?
2. What are Ricohs plans for the Pentax flash system? A compact flash with master/controller capabilities is really missing, now that the top DSLR models have no in-built flash any more.

Notwithstanding that recently Pentax has not used even numbers for their camera names, is there any intention to produce a 'K2'? Perhaps as a compact full frame DSLR?

The K1 is great, but physically closer in size to a medium format camera.
I'm thinking the hypothetical K2 could be a full frame version of the KP.

I don't feel the need to know anything. Maybe just thank them for the K3III... it was appreciated.

It looks like after a bit of a break due to the pandemic, we will finally have a chance to conduct our "CP+" interview with Pentax/Ricoh representatives in Japan.

Things have definitely changed quite a bit since our last interview in 2019. What do you think we should ask? Please post your suggestions here, bearing in mind that questions such as "when will product x be released" will not be considered.
Do you know specifically who you'll be talking to?
