There are indeed several new projects in the pipeline.
Good to hear.

I wonder which we could hope to see this year?
- A Pentax camera?
- Pentax lenses?
- A new kind of GR?

Sounds like something to look forward to. I think there's a lot of potential for a different kind of "GR".

Lenses for Pentax are badly needed as well. I'm hoping that some lenses not on the roadmap are also in development.

Late to the party. I'd be curious to know if the Pentax DFA 70-210 is optically different to the Tamron. Does the Pentax use anomalous dispersion glass while the Tamron doesnt?

Amen to that. The Pentax bodies are great just make loads and loads and loads of new glass. Redo the whole K+M catalogue with contemporary optics!

Well I was just thinking of a couple of extra updated lenses, but there are definitely some nice old lenses that would be nice to ave modern equivalents of.

I was joking. It is impressive to see the lineup from that period though and the prime lens bias is of course to my liking. Does anyone know what numbers they pushed out? Is the development of the economy failing us or did the produce enormous numbers of lenses?

Just like the D FA* 50mm f/1.4 is a modern equivalent of the old K 50mm f/1.4

OK. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Ricoh Imaging has already been more active this year than last. I hope for a few more things before the end of the year.

The full frame wide-angle situation must be really trying. But we know it is on the way, and if recent releases are a guide, it will be worth the wait.

If you are willing to spend the money, I guess that is OK.
I have a Sigma 10-20mm, a DA 20-40 Ltd, a DA 55-300, and a DA 1.4X TC - with no plans to spend money on more lenses - my camera bag is full enough. I might spend on a new body with focusing like the K-3iii if they can get the price down to $1000.

They probably do need more “FF” lenses.

I thought Adam said the interview was done now anyway.
We will continue to post here until an interview is actually posted.
In fact, some will continue to post until @Adam; gets around to closing this thread.

Is collecting questions still open? If yes, question for Ricoh: Given that Ricoh/Pentax has be famous for limited editions of cameras (e.g silver, premium kits) how difficult would it be to produce a limited edition of Pentax K1 II Monochrome?
