Man the bokeh is smooth for a wide angle. This might be there first prime Pentax convinces me to pay big bucks for.

The new 21LTD apparently also has a 67mm filter thread, so complaining about it not being the same as the 24/2 or A20/2.8 in this regard is noise with no facts to back it up. I expect the new 21 to have very good to excellent corner performance.
Thank you for correction

Impatient to compare this new lens with
Sigma DG EX 20/1.8 and Pentax A 20/2.8 i both own.

To the contrary, they missed the Fuji advantage one more time not even reaching f/2.
Fuji is for APS-C, which translates to... 2.4 in FF.
Just kidding of course.
(And yes, I'm rereading the thread for links to actual shots with this lens.)

Some links with samples:
Thanks ever so much - so many threads! But it does give the impression of a very, very good lens.

It is listed now on Australian Amazon at AU$2,580.86 - if someone in a big hurry,
otherwise should be available in 2022 at ~ AU$2,000

Thanks - a great summary!
One things for sure - its a great lens for close in shots. I'm not 100% sure about its performance at infinity focus yet (all the shots I have seen so far look a little not so sharp at infinity but its probably just the focus point used for the shots).

I was looking for the same thing - but did see some shots at infinity which seemed sharp too. For example https://twitter.com/FZ6Yossui/status/1464880868598509574.
The images go a long way to decide the matter for me (21mm or 16-50mm PLM). But I'd like to see more of the performance on the K-3 III.

I should correct myself: from the (limited) samples where infinity can be judged, it seems to be that the lens has this covered as well as nearby. It really seems to deliver at all fronts. But it's a limited, so where are the compromises?
