That's an epic list of cameras, Stephen!! Very much looking forward to the video as and when it's completed

---

To any members who own the Z-5, Z-70p, 67 or the Asahiflex models mentioned, please consider helping out with some video footage. I produced some for a few of the cameras I own at Stephen's request, and it wasn't difficult - I just used my smartphone mounted on a small desk tripod. It was the first time I'd tried anything like this, and turned out to be a fun little challenge. Plus, there's a lot of satisfaction in contributing to - and being part of - something that will be such an amazing and enduring resource for all Pentax fans!

I only have Pentax 67II cameras, there are distinctly visible differences between the classic 67 and 67II.
Yes, I’ve been reminded of that. Not having owned any of them, in spite of having considered acquiring one some years ago, the differences weren’t at the forefront of my mind.

My good friend lent me his 6x7 for our history video.
I even ran a couple rolls of 120 through it.
Holy moly. They are so choice!
The shutter sound is like a tank firing!

I have been advised many times by others to perhaps make a history series rather than 1 giant video.
but I am thick-headed, and if I have my way, it will be 1 entire movie.
I have about 6 hours of unedited footage, but I bet it will pair down to about an hour or so when it's connected with my script.
Lots of editing ahead of me!

I have it on good authority that @fozzfoster makes cracking videos. That is a bonkers list. Are you going to split them down or will it be something requiring an intermission, with ice creams and everything
Can’t be as long as the opera I took a date to when I was in grad school;
I don’t remember the opera’s name, but it had an intermission for us to ‘go home’ and have dinner.

Wagner’s ‘Ring Cycle’ consists of four operas totalling about 15 hours.

Sounds about right in both cases.

I believe it's going to be lengthy, hopefully not that long though!
Maybe something nice to watch over dinner, or something you can pause and come back to

but maybe a note in the Medium Format forums might attract some attention.
woohoo!
Thanks again for the suggestion! Managed to attract some attention and get a vouch for the 67 !
Should have the full medium format line now
(I don't have all the mirror-lock up variations, but will be mentioned)
