Salty, it's also the right camera for the time. Budget priced to appeal to the new DSLR buyer in these tough times. Lets all hope the promote the crap out of this camera and get it in as many stores as possible. Anywhere, just make it visible. Maybe Pentax will grow while the others are cutting jobs and production. The new K1000.

Btw. I did a little advertising last night while waiting in my local Future Shop for a clerk (Best Buy). All the computers had a full sized picture of the new camera on the screen when I left. 20 minutes of boredom, 20+ computers. Shoulda changed the screen savers!
