hehehe... sorry for this joke, I apologize if I somehow created unease feeling to you.

I was too itchy after saw the white Pentax K-m like an iPod, so I decided to make K20D looks like Mac Pro, give it a cool & seriously pro "look".

Anyway "BE INTERESTING.™", MERRY X'MAS!!!

Pentax going Apple?

I think Pentax launch the white K-m(K2000D) kind of a smart move with their limited resources & finance, I see Pentax going the same road as Apple - improve the cosmetic & kept the quality of product ranges. No doubt Apple did it impressively, hopefully Pentax able to make a legend.

Erik, u r sharp!

Yes, that's the original picture.

below is my layers works, to make the black into silver quite easy, just desaturated & tweak it in lighter gray, then burn in shadow mode & dodge in highlight mode. Have a try my friends, I dicovered this technique while waiting for 6pm to go home, not thing to do within that 1hr, so photoshop is the only way to ease my itchiness...

You're a lot better than me at naming your Photoshop layers useful things. I'm a "Layer 234 copy" kind of guy

You do know that pro cameras can *only* be big and black, right? I mean, that's what some are saying about the white K-m. :P

Interesting concept. Merry Christmas.

Very clever!

Except that's a PowerMac G5 in the picture, not a MacPro.

Ha, honestly, I'm one of the "Layer 234 copy" kind of guy too, this is just an exception for showing the layer purpose, I spend quite some time to naming the layers too.

Ya, I wonder why pro camera has to be black? If it's a limited edition, it gonna be a collector item instead, shining armor for pro collection?... I don't know, I'm not pro.

Merry Christmas to you too, vinzer!
