Label near the mount of the old DFA100. WR is blue rest is white. The new lens has a discreet 2.8/100 text engraved in the same location.

After some initial testing it's obvious that the purple fringing issue is better controlled with the new lens design.
As expected; sharpness, resolution and contrast is superb already at F2.8.

But, if you see this Pentax (!), please release a firmware update for improved autofocus accuracy with KP.
Particularly for metallic- and reflective surfaces. And general low light performance.
