I am very interested in this new lens. I received a Lensbaby Composer Pro II with both an Edge 50 and a Sweet 50 for Christmas. Though I haven't been able to put them through their paces, the test shots have been uniquely satisfactory.
In the field with the Double Glass II

Nice to finally have a "normal" aperture system rather than the drop in discs

After years of not making K mount lenses, wonder what changed their mind?
I need to drag out the Composer and original double glass. I also have the Sweet 35 with aperture. Missed the ability to use magnetic apertures. Looks like they fixed that here. Wish there wasn't a loss of light.

Thanks,
barondla

What changed their mind was the companies dedication to DSLR's for the future.

The difference between MILC and Leica-style rangefinder camera is subtle at best.

If Pentax ever gets around to delivering their ‘low level’ film camera by then, I am thinking of taking it with me when we go to the County Fair {normally around July 4th} this year instead of the Q-7 which worked so well last year.
