They say the image profile:
- Emphasizes the pale pink (red) of cherry blossom petals
- Slightly dull blue that expresses the sky of spring haze
- Creates high-contrast images
This one looks very nice. I have the camera. I have the lens. Tokyo will be full of Cherry blossom very soon. What’s not to like?
Sidenote: Maybe it's been there for a while, but I hadn't noticed rental being offered until visiting your page link just now. Prices very fair too with, for example, the K1III offered at the equivalent of $116/mo USD, minimum 3 months.
As for the firmware I'm hoping we see a 2.x version sometime this year. The number of firmware improvements for the K3III is unheard of for a Pentax camera AFAIK. Fewer models but more engineering attention is great for buyers.
