Current Pentax 35mm Lens Line-up - New or Old news for these Notable 2? (new to me!)

Interchangeable Lenses (for 35mm SLR Cameras) : Film Cameras : PENTAX

Both the Pentax-A 50/1.2 and smc PENTAX-F AF Adapter 1.7X show as current items available new from Pentax!!!

I knew Matsushita (who must be re-deploying a new eBay store, as there are 0 items for sale by them @ the moment) had been selling A 50/1.2 as new for a while now, but I thought that was NOS. I see I was wrong. Is this a recent change or have those been on that sheet like that for a while now? I'm sure I've seen that page before and not seen those items on the "currently available" list. I gotta find out what the 1.7x will be new now.

And that's the one that works with SDM, right ?

Does this mean there will not be the new pentax adapter ?

No, I don't think so. Or maybe in that it turns the AF lens into a MF lens and has a moving element controlled by the screw drive to provide AF within the TC. So whether you have a MF lens, or legacy AF lens, or SDM lens, it's the TC that provides the AF.

I think that a SDM adapter will still come. Pentax 'may' have did this to appease complaints in that it will be very very late. My wish is for the new SDM adapter is to adapt the focal length it tells the body the lens is at too, so SR movement magnitude can work properly (less movement is needed). Any TC that does That, would be about time.

I found a 2008 Pentax catalogue in Japan that had them listed as in production. The A 35-80mm was also available new I think. I bought A 50mm 1.2 brand new last spring for $450 USD. At the time 3500 NOK.
