Odd you mention that lens. I for one am very happy about my SMCP A 50/1.2. Admittedly, I had to buy Katz Eye focusing screen for my K10D, but it was worth all the while.

Be interesting to see how well it performs up agains the Voigtlander 58mm Nokton SLII 1.4, with AF and weather sealing it makes for an attractive lens overall.

I hate to rain on the parade, but how many delays did the 60-250 get? It's STILL not available where I am.

Actually Pentax will raise the price for FA lenses staring February. Including FA 50/1.4
