Turns out you can adjust the spacers, so you'd be able to make some room for the other FA Limited lenses, provided you'd be fine with carrying 2 in the case.

You'd be able to take along 4 DA Limited lenses (1 on camera+3 in the case) or 3 FA's (1 on camera+2 in the case.)

But I haven't heard anything about it being released...so I hope it hasn't been canceled.

Very nice

I would definitely buy a case like that for my FA Limiteds.

When this case was proposed, they were asking for feedback on the design. Most folks were concerned about the way this case opens and the ease of dropping a lens out of it. The consensus was the lenses needed a retainer type elastic or strap of some type. That was the last I've heard of it.

Totally forgot about this one here. I know the first time I saw this, I could not wait for this become available to order.

I'm 99% sure I read that this was made by Case Logic, and I've been checking their web site every few weeks, but...nothing as of now.

That's my perception, too. Looks accident prone, with an odd concept.

If they were worried about dropping lenses, wouldn't it be better to have the zipper going over the top of the lenses, that way you could theoretically still have the case open and on your shoulder and not have to worry about dropping anything?

The only way I could see the case being useful in the above depicted form would be transport only. I think it'd be pretty hard to switch out lenses on a busy street/market/area without having to place the case somewhere.

One could probably leave out the big front and rear pads to make more room for the FAs...that is...if a thinner divider was substituted or made, or some kind of cloth was there to protect the lenses from the rubbing the zippers for those more paranoid. The rest of us would just put the rear caps on the outside

Awesome idea...Case Logic usually offers a Lifetime Warranty on their products (IIRC)

In my hands, that would be the perfect way to drop three lenses all at once!
