In-camera stabilization - Minolta
Contrast AF and LV in DSRL - Olympus and then Nikon, Canon, Sony
AF adjustment - Canon
Video in DSLR - Canon and Nikon
The smallest DSLR - Olympus
Antidust (the most effective) - Olympus
In-camera RAW convertor - Olympus
The high dust and weather resist of DSLR and of lenses - Olympus
Fine AF adjustment (for zooms too) - Olympus

What can Pentax offer new in digital era?
Sv and Tav?

What else? :ugh:
In camera RAW was a Pentax first if I'm not mistaken, released on the K10D, If I'm wrong then thats ok, but which model was it introduced on by Oly.

Digital preview is a Pentax first,
colour adjustable LCD screen is a Pentax first,
RAW dedicated button is a Pentax first.
Help button is a Penax first.
Canon introduced AF adjustment to only the Mark III cameras, very expensive. Pentax introduced it to a cheaper market. Also the K200D is the first weather sealed camera in its category, for the masses.
As far as Video go, although it was not first to offer it. You can see clips made by the 5 second Pentax burst mode on the K20D.
YouTube - I Get It Wrong High Res Here is one video shot on the Pentax.
click on High quality when watching.
Also, Do not underestimate how good TAv mode actually is. Its really innovative.
Pentax is the first I believe to introduce RGB histogram to a lower price bracket.
The only company to have rotational correction in SR mode. The first to bring wireless flash control from such cheap cameras.
The green button is still very special.
Hyper program is still special.
Dual motor lenses. screw drive and SDM, Although on that one I would have prefered SDM only lenses across the board.

Oly E510 and E-410 had in-camera RAW development.
Help button is afaik a Nikon first.

Hmm... let me see... who was first?
My first SLR - Pentax
Weather sealing in an affordable camera - Pentax (no other manufacturer can offer this!)
Good viewfinder in an affordable camera - Pentax
AF adjustment in an affordable camera - Pentax
Stabilization that works with every lens, by inputting the focal length - Pentax
And so on.

Pentax is constantly developing new technologies and improving on current ones, like new interface elements (RAW button, TAV+Sv), Aero Bright Coating, Dust Alert/Dust Reduction + new sensor coatings, Pixel Tracking (the first electronic stabilization system that does something)... they are small, but they're not sitting idle.
So, ogl, please stop whining.

- The last SLR company offering full old lens compatibility under $1000 [with the official M42 adapter from the 60's onward]: Pentax.
- The last big company investing in good primes with metal barrel and hyperfocal scale: Pentax.
- The last company to leave the option of using AA and not lithium proprietary [someone loves living in a free world ]: Pentax.

To say honest I never use Sv mode. And % of users who use Sv very often is very few.
Digital preview is useless and color adjustment too. Marketing. Help button - funny.... And it's not Pentax move.

Olympus has very good compatibility with old lenses, even better than Pentax.
Can work with Leica and Canon and Nikon lenses.

AA is the question to dispute.

Nobody want to see that Pentax has technological problems and can't develop something new for DSLR. Another brands make face of DSLR world now...
Alas.

*Ist DS was the smallest dslr to it's date. The E-420 is smaller but was made much later. Also K-m is the smallest dslr with in body SR.

Green button -
The many use of the green button is one of the most usefull feature I miss from my Pentax DSLRs.

Without it, no HyP, no HyM, no instant switching in and out of auto ISO, no stopped down metering for non-cpu lenses: VERY usefull and clever.

Fortunately, I can still enjoy it on my 1995 Z1-P (even though it's not actually green on this one...)

The new Oly 620 is lighter (about same weight with battery as K-m without). It is slightly higher and wider, though.
