Let's hope the plans still exist and that Pentax is now just putting things on the road map that will be marketed in the very near future. After all the long time the DA*60-250/4 was on there before being available couldn't have done a lot of good for the company image? Perhaps it's only good marketing to avoid similar mishaps by too early announcements through the road map?

If they limit their roadmap to the near future, it's a good move from Pentax. Look at all the gossips and rants about DA 60-250...

Yes that's the lens I'm the most looking forward to...hope its not too pricey.

it would have been nice if Pentax showed some loyalty towards its existing client base.. and actually listened to what we want...

Pentax exists as a company to make products to make money.

Obviously Hoya thinks that it's more profitable to make bridge cameras marketed towards less serious photographers than dump who knows how much money into the development, marketing, and research of a FF system that maybe a minute percentage of Pentax users would actually purchase.

Pentax owes it's client base nothing - Hoya's probably not into making feel-good products for the hardcore Pentaxian if it won't return some revenue. Sad truth these days.
