I found a source about the mount specification:

1. Sensor size standard: 20.7x13.8 mm
2. First product sensor: APS-C sized CCD (IMHO: probably the 14.6 CMOS)
3. Mount: µFT (Micro-FourThirds)
(4. Display: 3 inch)

Funny. Sensor from Sigma, mount from 4/3.

These data do not fit together.
dc.watch today writes: "different from µFT" and APS-C.

I didn't say that. But is there any information on the lenses other than "3 pancakes and a zoom"? And does Samsung have a history of producing good lenses?

I'm just sayin' that I wouldn't be putting any of my money down for this at this point in time...

blende8, I agree. But this is what they wrote.
A FourThirds mount would be large enough for an APS-C sensor (it was over-dimensioned). I'm less sure for a µFT mount, though. The mount looks about as wide as the K mount or a 42mm screw mount.

Re lens quality - Maybe they outsourced lens production.... to you know who.
It might be the beginning of that third party manufacture that someone thought of a little while ago.
Looking at those focussing rings and looking at how good they are on pentax for consumer grade zooms, and how bad the opposition manual focus options are, I'd say there is a good chance that the lenses were made by pentax.

If so, could be interesting going forward and the µ4/3 mount can be used by pentax for other things.
Baseless speculation.

However since the digital revolution and microprocessors the size of a pinky nail where hardly imaginable at the time it was designed I think it's time to just start over from scratch and go forward with a mount that works better with EVIL systems instead of retro fitting 70's technology. Should Tesla Motors have used the frame of a Datsun 240z for their Telsa Roadster?

The K-Mount is a great mount for SLR's (as is the F Nikon Mount), but these cameras are not SLR's. For SLR's keep the K-Mount; it works fine for that purpose, but these cameras are a whole different beast.
In other words you have nothing to back up your statement?

They can source it to China/Pheonix and they wouldn't be able to butcher the optical IQ of a fixed lens. Some of these lens designs are 100-year old.

Could be outsourced to Pentax, but I don't see why there are multiple switches on the zooms. Only one is needed for auto/manual focus, which makes me think that these zooms are in-lens stabilized ones, something Pentax has no experience in.

But yes, until we get any official word from Samsung, all we can do is speculate.
