sweet im going to wait for reviews of this one and if its not that great probably pick up the existing lens second hand for cheap

Any new thoughts on the new lens? I had heard August for the pentax version by now cannot find any sources to confirm it.

For those who are interested, French magazine Reponse Photo made a test of this lans on Nikon mount this month and were very pleased.

The zoom is very good at 10mm starting at F4, and much weaker at 20mm, but overall very good quality for the price.
