Insanely idiotic and closed-minded comments.

So I'm in. Never could resist.

"I wouldn't buy that for $300" the first Nikonian says.

Really, now*that's* a perspective problem.
The dumbass who wrote that didn't even have the balls to post his name.

It's funny to think that the other night I was playing around on DXO Mark comparing my K10d with a D60 & D90 on a whim... In all honesty they came out roughly the same. I think it's the system more than anything - it's how each manufacturer does things that makes a difference to the user. I find it kind of humorous that in the end you end up with a picture that people will look at and not give two shits about what camera you used or how cold you were waiting for those few moments... It's about the picture not the camera or system. Shut up and take pictures.

All I can say is, Pentax needs to come out with a screen for fast lenses. Let me nail the focus, and we're in business. Let the rest talk.

I dunno... sure there's a lot of Nikon fanboyz ... who'da thunk it, on a Nikon site. But I read a lot of posts praising different aspects of Pentax. Surprisingly many given the context/locale. I guess they were all from one of you here?

Forums, of any brand, any product, any industry tend to attract little more than inane, passive-aggressive minutiae than anything of any value. The 5% I find useful can be incredibly valuable....too bad the rabid fan-boy fascism style tends to be the typical draw.

That's just the nature of web forums.

Isn't it a bit strange in general how people have to take sides for or against a product or product brand? As if it would somehow define the person and not just be a product that the person has bought.

It happens all the time here, except that the people get called trolls.
Did you really need the big font to get your point across?

Some people are so insecure in their choice that they need to discredit other people's choice in order to feel secure with what they think is the best product money can buy. Generally, these persons spend more time talking about their product specs and features instead of using said product.
