Finally... the DA 15/4 and DA 60-250/4 are (almost) here - IN CANADA :o

I received an email at work from Pentax Canada stating that the DA 15/4 will
shipping shortly and the DA 60-250 in April and there was even pricing

,
albeit somewhat high, IMVHO.

I keep telling myself I don't want the 60-250mm, but I do. Though I really don't like that it extends.

So what is the pricing?

On the Pentax site, they at least have a 'coming soon' label on the DA15LTD, still nothing on the DA*60-250mm.

I'm curious about the pricing for the DA15 too. Well, let's get cracking at the tax return and see if I'm lucky to get some money back for the DA15.

I'm there with you. I'm unhappy with Pentax for the shenanigans they pulled thru announcement-design-production and want to say so via my wallet... but I want the lens, for its go anywhere sealing and focal range... if the lens were faster I couldn't resist. But for now, I will.

This morning, I was speaking with a sales rep at "Leos Cameras" on Granville Street in Vancouver. They have just received the part number, ordering info, and pricing for the 60-250mm. You can order now for $1699, and delivery is promised early next month. If it had been a little cheaper I would have ordererd. At that price, I'll wait to try it out before I order.

$1700!!! That may be out of my range... Granted it may get more use than my DA*300mm, but I dont know if I can justify that. I was hoping for the $1300 area.
