I'd like to have a K1000 version of the K10D. Just a basic 10 mp w/out all of the stuff That I don't need or want.

It's such an extremely good idea. Just make an MX (K1000, not so much: it's kind of bulky and too primitive, in my opinion) with an SD slot and LCD and bundle it with a 31 limited or something.

as Ben pointed out, thats pretty much the KM.
