Is left (oups Right) button used to switch btw Optic-VF and Electronic-VF, isn't it?

Or maybe activate touch-screen (Iphone-like)

I am not sure about left button, but I have pretty strong impression that the second symbol on OK button means "Menu" (there are already many other cameras with OK/MENU button comined), while the right joystick button has a symbol meaning focus point selection. It probably should work the same way as entering menu: you press focus select, then with joystick buttons select the focusing AF point, and confirm with OK button.

Nope, I guess that button is for "editing mode" "custom image".

Then, how are you going to select AF point?

Why do people still think there's no flash...

I'd say this button says otherwise

guess you press ok button and afterwards you select with the four other keys around.

I you check the symbol for custom image at your k20D youŽll find it very similar to the right button at the k-7.

Yeah, but image magnification and coverage are already known.
Are they? do you have a link, must have missed that!
"Nearly" 100% field of view and 0.92x magnification.

Yes.

Selector on manual AF point selection, press OK and then use the arrows to select the point (only now I guess you can't press OK to choose directly the central AF point).

I can hardly remember that another camera would make such a big furore. Can't wait to see K7 tested by dpreview or dcresource

you are kidding right? I know you are being sarcastic. Let's try to predict what will be the first complaints from dpreview about the K-7:

-Kit lens is not IS (image stabilized)
-jpeg images are soft and oversharpened
Depending on reviewer:
-jpegs are "too punchy"
-jpegs could use more saturation
(Note that k10d jpegs were "dull, but k-m were "a bit much")
-Not compatible with L-glass
-Too small for our liking

Any other predictions?

By all means, if you want to know what Canon fans think of Pentax cameras, read dpr

Well, couple more questions:
1) How do you get into menu then?
2) Why custom image settings are so special that it requires a separate hardware button? Do you change it that often?

Then what OK button does in other AF modes (cental/autoselect)?

I can see DPR saying this:

"Kit lens is the only weather sealed affordable lens, could use midrange lenses with weather sealing."

"while the body has withstood, in our tests, a train pass (freighter, derailed) a fire, complete submerssion followed by -20celsius temperatures, we would still like to see a real pro, rugged body, magnesium alloy"

or perhaps they'l just say "shiiite, mate.. uggghh"

a man can dream, can a man not?
