[QUOTE=illdefined;567405]hate to bring it up but...anybody concerned about the grip being TOO small?
/QUOTE]

I don't think so, at least for my hands.
I wsn't too comfortable with the isr-D without grip and K10D is defiinitely way better.

Later when I offered a ist-DL to my father I was amazed how it fitted my hands a lot better than the istD.

I has the opportunity to have a K-M in my hands and beleive it or not, its hand grip is about perfect.

With all the speculation going on about specs for this future beast, can we look at the name choice? It seem that the fewer digits most manufacturers (pentax included) have in the nemes usually the higher level of camera function. K10 vs K100, K 20 vs K200 Or k2000 (KM) so in chosing the name as the K7d might this be a more pro specd body? After all Pentax stated the new body isn't a successor to the K20 but something else. Maybe this will be Pentax's long hoped for "Pro" body. Then again maybe somebody in marketing just likes prime numbers.

My guess (but many have suggested this before) is that K10/20 battery grip won't work with new body.

But the initial remark applied to joerg, none of your posts...

This is the biggest thread every.

I want to know if anyone here has ever seen a bigger thread. ???????

Judging by the interest this thread and all the pictures have caused. It seems that Pentax has a sure hit on their hands.
If they get it right.
The K10D was a great big hit for them.
The K20D not so much as it was not a revolution in the Pentax line as much as the K10D was.
Now. If the New K is a step up. It will be something that currant K10D, K20D, Ist D owners will all be able to upgrade to.
As said before, some regarded the 20 as not a worthy upgrade as they already had a great camera.
Time will tell, but I see Demand for this camera higher than supply at first.
