That's the thing, I know I won't get the K7 before I'm done working here, but if I knew it was really gonna be something special I would just wait until the end of June or whenever it's released. I'm almost sure it won't be FF, but that's not really a requirement of mine, it is just something I would enjoy having. I'd be happy with greatly reduced noise at higher ISOs, but I don't see that happening either. Maybe a slight improvement but nothing drastic.
The reason I'm thinking about getting the 5D is because I'll be getting a new camera body soon anyway, and the 5D would be great for low light/night time shooting while I'm here. Also, it will cost just as much as the K7 when it's released. The main things holding me back from just going ahead and getting one right now are that with the 5D I'd also have to get a Canon lens of some sort to use it, plus I don't really NEED a new camera, I'd just really like to get one

Anyway, enough about me and back to speculation about a camera that most of us will know fairly few concrete facts about for another month.
