Do you remember the rumor - new camera will be higher, but body is more compact.

No, I don't.
Where was that rumor posted?

Can you modify this image so that the lettering on the front of the camera says Pentax.....
That would be quite a feat without "drawing it in" since cameraphones save power by scanning down the sensor field (like a video camera). That would be the white diagonal you see where the camera was shifted during the shot.

I believe this is a magnesium cladded camera (to add good feel) with an exceptional viewfinder using the 14,6mp sensor from the K20D.

Hmm, I think it is the height of the camera that makes it bulky...
At least make it look bulky,,,, i.e. ugly

That is a new camera. There is no way that is a distorted K20D photo.

To me the pentaprism bump has lines that remind me of the shape of the standard LX viewfinder. Logo face is six sided, with hard break lines flowing back from the mid-logo corners. Face above the logo is planar. I expect additional photos will show a transvers break line at the top of the face over the logo face.

I think we are looking at a digital LX.
Don't toy with me! I've been wanting a digital LX for eons!

if it doesn't have interchangeable finders then its a no-go on the digital LX. if however it does have interchangeable finders, I will without hesitation purchase one. I have been going on about interchangeable finders on a digital body for at least two years now. I really do hope I am looking at a proper digital LX.

Ah, simple explanation. I took that image with a Canon pocket camera in macro mode at a distance of 10 cm (4 inches) with full flash.

Those marks are written in white, blue and yellow on the actual lens.

what does live view have to do with interchangeable finders? I want the ability to use an optical waist level finder, with a full set of interchangeable screens. live view is a joke compared to a proper finder.

You can say it aloud but this camera is not the MZ-D (as shown in 2001)
