Am I reading this the wrong way or are you implying that the A900 is better looking than the K20D? Of course, taste is personal and differs. Not that the look of the camera itself is really important to me but I think K20D is the best looking camera on the market right now. And on the bottom of that list I think I would put the A900. Add the grip to the A900 and it gets even worse, whereas the K20D with grip gets even more good looking. IMHO of course.
Lack of build-in flash automatically make a camera look better. There is no "good looking" DSLR on the market today. The D700 is pretty solid.

K10D/K200D/K20D design is the "black sheep" in the Pentax tradition of body aesthetic. Don't you see they are moving away from it, satrting with the K-M?

the 3rd picture

shows the control dial with one more position than the K20D between *green* mode and *user*. Most likely it's the movie mode.

Sorry, but I agree with Tommy on this: I find the Pentax K10D/K20D to be the best looking DSLR on the market today, and the A900 among the ugliest (the new Nikon D5000 is sort of giving it a run for the money, however )

Is that a flash socket I see below that other button on the front side ...?

Interesting. The camera indeed show some "retro" features the left shoulder is straight; not sloping away from the prism. The prism itself has more similarities with older film designs. Indeed, it seemt the camera have some similarities with the professional camera prototype below:

This third picture definitely shows the 645d because:

(a) you can see the second tripod mount on the left side
(b) the mirrorbox is very long, it extends forward more then the diameter of the dial

I don't think so, unless the image is seriously arped.

The dial is different from the last pics of the 645D and the symbol before the USER position definitely looks like a movie mode.

The 645D also looks a lot bigger if you look at the relative size of the body/dial no?

EDIT: oops I am beaten by a mile... may I just add that the 645D has no green mode and that the raw button + flash button can be distinguished?

This is definitely the new Pentax cam'
