FF or bigger crop?
Or maybe just a 100% x1 finder?... yummy!

This camera looks bizarre to me. The prizm seems to extend pretty far, and is that the hotshoe over on the far right? If so, it is off center axis. All in all, it kind of looks like it has a snout to me.

Correction: It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. The hotshoe is not off center axis.

The camera just looks very narrow (even on the first pic).

It looks kind of "cubic".

from the 3rd picture, the Prism seems quite big and square. maybe some features like video/still review inside the viewfinder?

Also, the camera in the third picture clearly shows the old type strap lugs! Like those on the MZ-S.

I'm sure there is, look at the first picture posted, you can clearly see the flash.
I don't think so. Where's the hinges of the flash? If there, it should be visible on picture No.3. It could be that the viewfinder is indeed interchangeable. Perhas one finder with flash, one without with some other goodies like live-view in the finder......
In this way Pentax could include a quite expensive feature, like a large finder + live view, as an option something that would make the basic camera cheaper and more competetive...
Perhaps just fantasy.....

May I point out that in the picture 3 it is "clearly" visible the flash button (lighting symbol)?

Also, there is a push-lock button in the mode dial.

Indeed; much like the button found on for instance the ZX-5 (or MZ-5), a camera I still like a lot.

I clearly see that theres a button where the flash button on the K20D is. However, the symbol on it doesn't seem like the lightning symbol for the flash even when camera movement is taken into consideration....

Bah Pentax may just decided the flash need to be higher over the prism?

Anyway, interchangeable viewfinder is a no go IMO. Too 'pro' and too difficiult in a DSLR.
C'mon, even Nikon nor Canon does it. They would have done that a long time ago.

I really do hope there's a bigger prism coming (100% ×1) and I hope it will feel as good in my hands as the K10D does.

What I find most interesting about is how we're being teased this time around.

I don't recall this sort of behaviour from Pentax in the past, and Hoya has so far been very "leak-proof" regarding new products.

Of course now we'll all be checking this guy's blog every 5 minutes to see the next pictures
