What else can you do with a build-in EVF? You can see histogram, see it better at night. Do a zoom in for manual focus aid I guess.

They better keep the brightness of the OVF though!

Also, if they are actually do it, can they really triggle down the technology in cheaper K300D body?

And I think they should call it "K-Z". Save "K-L" for full frame.

EVF type camera modeled from samsung's NX.
Pentax officials have clearly stated they were not interested in EVFs.

I hope you are right. But to realy make the camera thinner, not only at the shoulders but over the mirrorbox, you need to loose the back screen...actually, there is no proof of a back screen anywhere on these photos. What if...D

Theres no problem having the back screen protrute a bit from the rest of the body. It already does on the K10D; making it prodtrude a few mm's more will only improve ergonomics lessening the risk of poking your eye while turning th rear dial...

Don't worry

Hey people. Don't worry. As soon as that camera touches down we'll take good care of it.

I don't quite understand your post. The OP made only one post about this, so that doesn't really qualify as "keep talking". By "some arse to keep talking of something that does not exist" are you perhaps saying that everyone who participated in this tread is an arse?

At least it shows clearly that one has to be careful shooting people with ultra-wide glass

that's a "small" limited lens and look how far it's pushed out. and where's the hotshoe? further back still? with a traditional zoom lens the thing will look like a rifle (i know some of you will like that).

what i was hoping for was a k20D shoehorned into a weathersealed Oly-4X0 series form factor, essentially a k20D smaller than a K200D. instead it looks like we're getting something that will put our hands closer together but will stick out a lot more. bummer.
I don't think it would be possible to 'shorten' the body for the distance between lensmount and sensor is given! You can only econnomize depth 'behind' the sensor, i.e. the thickness of the display.

Really? That lens has a green band/line - indicating it's a DA series lens.

Looks like our mysterious blogger also has some Nikon gear, if that picture is anything to go by.
