Ok so everybody guessed that the grip/battery will be different for the new camera, which is to be expected given the new form/style.

I addition, new battery means (generally) more power and thus can lead to higher performances soooooo.... what about the good news??

good question. i'd say it's too far away to be a button for the index finger so let's all hope it's an AF lamp. either that or some newfangled rangefinder/VF assist.

I've been trying to keep up with this thread, but it's quite long by now. What do we KNOW about the camera, based on pictures?? Size, modes, dials, date (5.21) etc.)?
