I for one an very happy that it does NOT appear to have a tilt/swivel LCD. Save those for camcorders without viewfinders, and "megazoom" P&S cameras.

My K-7 wish list: (in order)

-Faster AF comparable to the class-leaders
-Improvements to high ISO (to an already excellent k20d)
-More FPS (6 would be consistent with the class-leaders)

The tilt/swivel LCD is maybe not necessary for the general use, but it is EXTREMELY useful for "above-the-crowd" pictures, and "weird-angels" MACROs, where the viewfinder is simply not accessible.

I'm not saying it is a must, but it's definitely a very useful feature.

My K-7 wish list: (in order)

1) AF that can be adjusted separately for daylight/tungsten light.

and

2) AF that can have at least (in some kind/shape/form) different adjustments for zoom lenses (wide end - tele end).

w/ that I can even live (for a while...) w/ a slow AF (what is the point to have it fast and wrong)

and

3) AF adjustment system to be automated - I mean if you have CDAF then use it, damn it, to find necessary adjustments for PDAF in a more automated way, finally ! point to a target, use CDAF and PDAF to focus separately and record the difference between CDAF and PDAF... sounds like a pure software task

I've never noticed the lighting source affecting AF, other than speed which would be more a matter of the amount of light, but I assume you're talking about adjusting BF/FF issues? How does the light change that?

for example my FA50/1.4 has different adjustments between a daylight and classic tungsten light, rather it does not need any adjusment in one case and need it (-5, K20D) in another case...

This seems odd to me (not doubting you, just confused). Any idea why this happens, or is the explanation going to require a few more physics classes?

I wonder what made Pentax concentrate on size with the K-7. of course it's a great, unique selling point but it's also probably the last thing on the priority list for current Pentax users...let's hope they at least get some more new users.
