I bet C focus mode is a continuous focus for movie mode- similar to AF-C but simplified for movies.

Um, I think it's exactly "AF-C", but they didn't have room for "AF". Look at the picture.

Always search for the simplest answer. It's most probably the truth.
In this case, I'd say since there was no room for "AF.C",they wrote only "C" instead.

Interestingly, on my K20D the AF.C is in green (just like AF.S). Why isn't the C on the K-7 in green then? Maybe to catch early leakers like Ogl
