Wet K-7

Fresh from pentax.de, the press release: a wet K-7

Because the site is under heavy traffic, I attached the image here.

Enjoy.

P.S.
Their list price incl. 19% VAT for the kit is € 1449.-

It probably is. But list prices are not taken seriously by anybody. A K-m in Germany costs less than in the US

Another detail from the German press release:

K-7 has 2 GB memory, in two banks of 1 GB each.

Why are they including the same strap they've been including since the K10

I love the different designs and was hoping for a new one...

Spotted this:
"The K-7 has a 'P-TTL' pop-up flash unit which has an electronic catch-type release (meaning it can be raised manually or automatically by the camera). "

I didn't notice any option to turn this off in the menus. My Canon using mates curse the automatic pop-up on their flashes. Have I missed an option somewhere?

Other than that, it's looking rather good isn't it?

people actually use the manufacturers strap

Who ever buys my 30D is outta luck, I never used it, I thought I threw it in the box... never opened it, dunno where it is... they are not getting my strap, custom made just for me I will be pretty on the K-7
