Another Picture of the new Pentax Camera DSLR

I found this image on a web blog, I hope they keep AV Mode! If you look in the lower left corner of the photo just below the dial it looks like three shooting modes, are these the cropping modes that were rumored earlier?

That's the spot, centre-weighted and matrix metering switch.

Looking at the top it seems that it has much edgier mirror box and body compared to curved transitions and slopes in previous dslr's.
Something more similar to classic SLR's:

I could say the same for that metallic knob in front, i believe to be strap attachment as well as the shape of the dial (simple, edgy cylinder with something round in center).
Top of the body (where the dial is located) seems to be flat as well, is it?
The button? on top of the plug? looks very crude and mechanical. Is it really raw/flash?
Is that a play button at the top?

Just some fun (sick) thoughts, considering the quality of picture... lol is that a Pentax camera at all .
I feel like i'm using too much of a "the" in my sentences, English speakers, is it so?

These "spy" photos remind me of the fuzzy photos of the Sasquatch/Yeti in the 70's. Technology sure has improved eh? ;-)

That definitely looks like quite a blocky mirror box for a 35mm-based camera design. I have to wonder what the extra space would be for, if it's not some version of the digital 645 we're looking at. Must be something pretty interesting, if that's the arrangement of things, I'd think.

FF would be my guess. Look at the Sony A900's mirror box.

I don't believe the pictures though. Looks like they were taken by a drunk guy w/ a camera phone

You've got to wonder, I suppose. Full-frame, maybe that idea of a rotatable sensor or square one could account for the oddness. Don't really expect it, but that'd shut em up if it *was* FF, though, wouldn't it?

Here's my theory, while I've been puzzling: The mirror box is forward, and the prism housing is long because there's room in there for some magnification, as well as maybe some kind of digital in-finder live view or other interesting feature, as well as maybe an articulated screen for video that tucks in out of the way. There could also be room back there to allow the sensor to move around for any number of puproses I can imagine.

How's that?

As for the photos, themselves, I don't find myself particularly skeptical of them, though nothing, I suppose, really says that's the new model.

Nah, Tomas, pretty clearly there's something unconventional going on in this camera, that lack of prism overhang on the Pentax has to mean *something's* different.

Something like... a new design for the built-in flash?
