Pentax will launch 2 (TWO) NEW camera body!

Sorry, doesn't mean to repeat the other thread but since it's too long, some people might have difficulty finding the new update.

So, here is the latest news with better picture of new Pentax camera:
IMG_0153_ps_up.jpg - Windows Live

As we can see that 1st camera on the left is the one that we've been seeing on the internet with blurry picture.
But have you noticed the 3rd camera from the left (or 2nd from the right)?
This one is definitely another new camera. Look at the longer lens mount and different hot shoe (metal?).

So here I see it from left to right:
1) K??? 2)K20D 3)K? or K?? 4)Km/K2000

Live is fun!

I have never hold a K200D, but I thougt it were smaller than the K10/K20, This one looks a lot bigger, although seems to have some scene modes!

Its the perspective.

Its the K200D. It appears bigger because its the closest camera to the lens which took the photograph.

I found an image from above on Imaging Recource, and you are right. Must be K200D

The one 2nd from the right is the K200D with the 18-55 kit lens, hood reversed.

The K200D is fairly large because of the top LCD and AA batteries.

Looks like it has a more pronounced prism for a largwer view finder. I wonder why this would be needed for a smaller sensor.

Because smaller is the sensor, bigger must be the prism to get a bright viewfinder.

It might just be the perspective, but the camera looks alot smaller than the k20 and the k200 next to it. If you look there is also no green mode button on the top.
can't wait to find out!

I will not comment on what the 3rd camera is, but I am pretty sure it is a k200 or k10, either way nothing special. However, more importantly we know for a fact that the other camera is new.

So here is what we know based on these pictures, larger prism, a third auto mode on the dial, new lugs, more retro styling, camera has an x-sync mode, roughly the same size as the k20d, and is a k-mount.

So here is my guess, the camera clearly is something new and not just a continuation of the pentax k-xx series. It is starting some new trends here, (retro styling, different size and there for different grip, seems to have no built in flash, more buttons and controls) so to me this screams either k-x series or ff or both. The camera has x-sync and more buttons and controls than current models so it clearly is targeted at semi pros or pros, the camera appears to have no flash which again reinforces this, the prism and mirror box are bulkier implying a larger sensor (perhaps 1.3x crop).

A lot of you guys are assuming that because the DA 35ltd is on the camera that it automatically has to be aps-c, first off the camera could easilly auto crop like nikons do, or it could be an aps-h sensor and it might work fine with that size. I am pretty sure that the camera is higher end than the k-xx series and the mirror box and prism are much bulkier, to me this implies larger sensor.

The larger prism could just be a design unveiled by Pentax some months ago to make a larger viewfinder by adding an enlarging lens under the focusing screen. That design means the viewfinder must sit higher so the mirror can still go all the way up. And, from the picture, you can clearly see a cut out line around the hot shoe, suggesting an on-board flash. So, it could still be APS-C.
