Has anyone else noticed the glaring absence of comments from Ben on the new Pentax picture / release date threads?

Have Pentax France gagged him; literaly?

Was he bundled into an unmarked Citroen, registration PEN 1 FR?

Or will we hear a lot from him on the 21st of next month?

I sent him a pm asking where if I should direct my emails about testing the K7D as pentax europe headquarters has moved to Paris ( I borrowed a K20D from Pentax UK and DA*16-50mm DA*200mm DA*300mm last year to test at the glastonbury festival ) and he said he wasn't in a place to comment as his sponsorship for pentax was terminated... for the moment anyway

So I guess we have a month to save up then we'll get an anouchment then another month or even more to carry on saving before we can buy it...

I noticed that he has put in a thread for us to e-mail Pentax France to get him re-instated as sponsored by them.

A good thing I think. I will mail them as it would be good to get his take on it all.

It is just odd as in Feb, / March he was speculating as much as everyone. Now when something concrete is happening - - - silence.

As to the new body, i'll have to see. I have only just upgraded to the K20 (£100 cash back was too good to miss) and I am a hobbyist only.

No no no.....none of those.

I believe that right now, Ben is busy testing the new K7D with all of those hot chicks in Paris.
He's either too busy or too fascinated by the new camera that he forgets to call back to earth.

Maybe. There'd certainly be worse hands to put one in, ..have some results all ready to go for the big unveiling.

Then again, I don't think Ben's actually here every day.

I just hope these new guys handle nice. It's going to be hard to beat the K20d in that respect, for me.
