Too Early?

No One knew the Full Specs right now!

The BUZZ that it is creating.... that is exactly what Pentax needed. The mysterious way in which they are promoting it. Leaking blurrred images, realistic yet sketchy specs. Making everyone think it's something totally different right off the back to hush the moans of possible disappointment by stating up front that is it NOT a successor camera. I like this a lot.

Could this is the WOW product that I was asking for?

Definitely not ogl and RH

I'd like the "D" to be dropped, but I don't see it happening in the next 2 years (my opinion only).

Believe me the K-7 is creating a buzz in all photographic circles.

the k-m, k2000, already dropped the D, what don't you see happening in the next 2 years exactly? It already happened last year...

The K-7 'rumors' have been posted on Engadet, Gizmodo, and Anandtech. None of which are blog sites or camera sites let alone Pentax fanboy sites. IMO if it gets on Engadget, it's big news.

The fact that none of the photography sites are even talking about the K-7 indicates to me that they are under NDA and have working models now - which is good news for getting timely professional reviews and feedback.

Don't know why, but this very icon was called "Blue" in my favorite emoticon collection. So, I couldn't resist

My humble guess is that a "Most popular lenses/Lenses receiving the most clicks in the last five days" list on the front page of www.dpreview.net would help folks realize that Pentax still exists.
