Not May, 20 - May, 18. 22 days. It's April, 27 now.

Yes, or maybe they changed their mind between displaying an unconfirmed possible in-stores date (late June) and an almost confirmed announcement date (late May)....

Anyway, I think it was also a programming error... but now it is clear that something is going to happen on May 20th or 21st.

I counted days with a calendar in my hand and old style... day by day, and that brings me to May 19th 23:59:59pm so that's May 20th...

Let it be. April, 28, 29 and 30 = 3 days. Plus 19 days in May = 22 days. But it's April, 27 today.
Anyway it's not May, 20 or 21.

This is correct. May 20, 00:00 (in your local time zone)

Enjoy the countdown in full screen here:

Indeed, it was an error and has been corrected. The end of the embargo, as was to be expected, is the same worldwide.

Not that this helps anything, but like many things that don't make much sense, it probably seemed like a good idea at the time.
Well, arrays are usually have a starting index of 0 as well, so it all fits together rather well.

Code:
tm_min The number of minutes after the hour, in the range 0 to 59.

tm_hour
The number of hours past midnight, in the range 0 to 23.

tm_mday
The day of the month, in the range 1 to 31.

tm_mon The number of months since January, in the range 0 to 11.
...
tm_wday
The number of days since Sunday, in the range 0 to 6.

tm_yday
The number of days since January 1, in the range 0 to 365.
Yeah, the odd one out is tm_mday, which starts with 1. Oh, and:

Code:
       tm_year
The number of years since 1900.
(Which is at least Y2K-sane.)
