Hope the logic behind the numbering will be clear enough (not that Pentax has no tradition of clear numbering LOL).

I see not much room for the K-L. Only position I see is that it could be as small as K-m, just 15MP. No way a K-L has 10MP only. And a second 15MP, K200D-sized cam just w/o the second dial?

Or K-L is K-7 without something added with K-7 over K20D ...

Oh, how I like the new single-letter/digit naming scheme. 2 cameras revealed, 34 cameras to come

Does anyone know for sure if there will be a successor to the K20D? Is there an estimated price for the K7?

Every Japanese products are affected by the exchange rate. There is no reason why only K20D is affected.

Check some others-- I was at B&H on Thursday last, and the Sigma 70-200 had gone up by about $50 since Tueasday. Likewise the 32" Sharp TVs. They said it was the Yen, apparantly getting more stable.

Actually, thats not accurate. There have been several people on here buy one in the last couple of weeks and several more express interest. The reason stocks are low in part due to recent sales at BH etc.

I actually went to B&H for the first time on Sunday. They still had the K20D for sale on the floor there. Pentax kind of has a weak showing there though. They have them grouped with Olympus, but the Olympus products totally overpower Pentax's. In fact it looks like they just shoved Pentax into one side of the Olympus booth. I was the only person I saw in the 10 mins I was there walk over and play with the Pentax models. The Canon, Nikon, and Sony displays where all swamped though. It twas sad.

B&H has the K10D + Kit lens listed in-stock. I may finally upgrade to the K20D after the announcement on the 21st if the K20D's "good enough for me" upon comparing capabilities.
