I'm surprised there weren't that many fancy lighting modifiers. Mostly just gridded strobes. Yep, lighting geek am I....

You really have implied a ot of things which would seem to be based on premises which are incorrect, but, as I said, you make da pictures.

I'd actually like to see what you do just walking around, but that's me. The kind of photographs I'd like to put up in my house or be impressed by in a magazine are not the same kinds of photographs I really feel I most want to do. Actually, I travel around this country more than I would like, and I find the photograph that may be shot by some deidcated peron, maybe they crudely Xeroxed it and put it on the wall twenty years ago before they stuck it on the wall and forgot why...

I may have my own artistic pretenses, but when I see a photograph like that, maybe I realize how technically hard it was to ge, see the hands of who printed it in where the dodged it... well, I think, for me, much of what I do is about being *that person.* The ne who shot the photograph that's hanging some obscure place. You wanna darn well be where you are, for that. Yaknow?
