Prodigital2000 is BACK!

Browsing the web and they have 12-24mm's for $750 Canadian. However they only have a 1 year warranty. So it seems they have bypassed Pentax Canada to bring them in.

Interesting development.

I've noticed they've started to restock some of the primes too; anyone remember what pricing was pre-March for items like the DA* 300mm?

I don't know, but the 43ltd and 35ltd used to be around $360 USD, now... not.

Looked it up in the pricing threads and it was C$1,182 with expected price increase about $120. Current prices reflect that change but it now comes only with a 1 year international warranty instead of the previous 2 year.

Sigh...

I know the DA 40mm was out of stock for about a month and they just got it back in last week.

I noticed that too...the 43Ltd was on my watch list for a while...guess I should have grabbed it last year but I didn't think the image quality was that much better than my 50 at the time

I couldn't find DA 40mm in its ebay store. Where did you find it?

It could be that they ordered just enough to fill previous orders, or else they just haven't gotten them into their system yet. Anyway, I ordered mine at the end of March... it said it was the last one available from prophotobags (prodigital2000 sister store for Amazon), but it turned out they were out of stock. After a month of email tag in which they told me it was backordered, it finally shipped last week. I should get it today.

What was the price then (if you don't mind)? Hotdigital has some DA 40mm at $280 now.

I got the last one at the old $219.95 price.

Tried it out this evening, by the way. Fantastic little lens.

Have any European members ordered from Prodigital2000? How and from where do they ship to Europe? UPS, DHL? Did you have to pay customs duty or taxes?

Yeah mate, i have ordered couple of stuff.... They are great.... reg tax - they declare half amount of value, so for instance, for something worth £200 you pay slightly more than £30 (at least UK) they send via UPS only.... Really bargain comparing to local internet stores. For istance: AF540FGZ - £315 UK most stores, prodigital (with tax) is obout £245-250....
