Official Pentax K7 Images...

How do we even know what the official name will be? It could be K-l,m,n,o,p...

With all the web-leaks prior to the official announcement, I keep being bombarded by images from people's workspace revealing the latest cameras. I know we are all eager for the next DSLR release, so much so, that it is the hottest topic over at Pentax Forums.

Some are being intentionally blurred, some are laid in a series with prior Pentax models, and some are just hiding in corners of all places, like a jacuzzi from some fine chap's reading chair, amidst the california sunny sky.

Well, I said to myself... "Self... don't leave yourself out of the drama

" So here goes, here are my additions to the leak pool.

"My Official K photos"

As you can see a "Pentax K" a retro analog looking DSLR.

Cries... another hoax. I think the word 'Official' regarding news or photo leaks should be reserved for Ned or someone in the loop to post.

Nice collection of lenses though.

I hope I didn't offend, I was just having some fun today. I returned from a work assignment covering my favorite boxer, Manny Pac-Man Pacquiao and on my return home I browsed the web forums.

I have been so amused by the buzz that has been stirring. It actually makes me happy to see so much excitement over what may possibly roll out from that little camera company formerly known as Asahi Optical Company.

Great things on the Horizon from the new PENTAX!

Hi there,

yesterday was the press event for the upcoming pacquiao vs. hatton bout in vegas this May 2, 2009. Its the biggest boxing draw of the year.

The image that fighter Manny is holding is from a polaroid taken on the spot from one of the press photographers doing "Artsy" portraits.

It was pretty impressive, it had like a "wet collodion" look.

Sorry to say Mark but with several comments like this from those obviously or probably "in the know", the expectations get so high that there's a great risk of getting disappointed at the time of the ventual release.

Well, beating the dead horse here and we'll see...

Ha, the way he was holding it from the distance it looked to me like he was holding an old picture of a past champ.

I guess this is unintentionally/intentionally the point of an "Artsy" portrait, though, right?
