May 21st, K-7 and Terminator Salvation

Both are to debut on the same day... COINCIDENCE!! Could you imagine the IMPACT that would have on Pentax if they were actually able to pull that off!!! Could you imagine the HUGENESS and utter coolness that would of had if the Pentax Marketing team had the vision and well the brass to attempt to do something like that.

The camera of the future featured in the movie about the future...

Opportunity lost... we'll have to wait and see.

So here's the big question. Do I drop $10 on the movie or $1200 on the camera? ... ugh tough decision!!!

I am a Californian, and am mightly pissed that Arnould is raising taxes as if he ass is on fire. So I ain't gonna drop nothing that helps his bottom line.

I am buying K-7 no matter what. In my mind I have already bought it and taken some pics.

Possibly not a coincidence, but we will have to see if T4 is using a K-7

Do both and take your K-7 to the movie and see how that turns out!

May 21st 2009:

T-800 bots
K-800 camera bodies

T1 was a T-800 series, model 101 so it only makes sense.

I dub the next model K-800

You don't know your Terminators In the first movie when you are looking through the eyes of the terminator it's display shows: T-800 Series, Model 101
It also showed a DOS-like command prompt executing a .exe file ...that was the scariest part of the show for me.

Camera, Camera, Camera!!!

I'm not a Terminator fan so that's an easy one for me.

Buy the camera, take it to the movie, record the entire movie in HD, upload for everyone to watch.
Everybody's happy AND most of all, we can all see how well the camera performs in low-light conditions .

Why? Wouldn't you want to be able to hack a terminator so you could control it?

They look gorgeous. Especially with the DA*55 wide open at 1/8000. DA15ltd, despite the inconsequential reviews, is spot on!
