From a few other posts of his I think ogl is hinting at a metal body, but another card carrying NDA user (I think) said you couldn't tell the difference between the feel of his idea of a "problem" on the body and the "feel" of a "non-problem" body. Then again, maybe I dreamed the whole conversation... It's a bit sketchy.

I've forgotten their name but someone did say you couldn't tell the difference between the body of the K20D and that of the K-7 on touch alone as its the same matierial.

I've checked video specs of 5D Mk II and D90.
D90 is very weak...5D Mk II has 1080P, but weak too.

5D Mk II has only 2 sizes
...Running time ONLY 12 min for 1080P, 24 min for VGA
K-7 also has file size and length limits, I believe.

I can do that anytime, I cant take part in a record breaking debate of a non existant product every day though.

Actually, I've been shooting a ZX-5n. It's kind of like a full frame version of a K10D in a compact package. The K-7 sounds better.

That is so true. I should really spend more time with my K10D instead of lurking around here (too much). But, have you thought about all the people who were out taking even more pictures while you posted that?

Take a picture with an old relic, interesting concept.

I don't know about most but I have a K20D as my main camera with a K10D as backup. In reading through all the post over the past few days I can see already 50% are gonna be screaming I am moving over to (Insert Camera Brand Here).

Video in a DSLR, Live View plus any bells and whistles you want - how about adding in a toaster oven as well. Gotta eat while you are out taking pictures you know.

All this techno lust is amazing. I think I will load up the old K1000 and do something really wild --- shoot some film because I can and use a manul focus lens.

On the 20th I can' t wait for the crying to start.

Gotta go the sun is actually out and wow blue sky......

This is something I do at times. It disconnect me with all this modernity which I'm the first to beg for. But sometimes, going back to the roots calms my mind.
The noise of a mechanical shutter .. hmmmmm

No, not if you use Lithium AA. They are good to -40F. They also last considerably longer than alkaline, and are lighter as well!
