AT THE VERY LEAST I'd wait till the specs are published before I make a decision to even consider buying it. Even more likely I'd wait to see some real world examples of what the camera can do.
As it is, all we have now is a bunch of hot air and speculation.

Pretty much sums up my views, as well, Salty. I won't even start seriously thinking about a K-7 until there are real data to think about.

Since I was an early adopter for istD and K10D, I'll probably skip this one and let you guys do "... send it back to us with all your lenses we'll fix it... " routine.

I've got a K10 wich is great for studio work but I need better low light performance and would really like the video. My clients want video and I hate having to switch between a (semi)pro camera and a prosumer video recorder.

If all the rumors are true, then I will definitely get it as soon as it is available. This will be my very first DSLR camera so I'm really excited and I can hardly wait!

I skipped the K 20, so I will probably get the new one, provided it has improved AF and less noise at high ISO.

Nope....
I want to build up my lenses first so it will have to wait in line behind the 35 ltd and 77 ltd... I've had a K20D since only december, its barely run in...

I'm still happy with my k10 (gx10) and i really think that one's photographic skills are much more important than a camera/lens he uses, so my answer is - no.

I skipped the K20 and at the first K-7 rumours I wanted 1 out of three options:

- EVF overlay
- 1.3 crop sensor
- High DR (Samsung patent)

I'm willing to replace the EVF overlay with a bigger viewfinder and add 2 stop lower noise than my K10D to the list, and I don't really care for a slightly bigger sensor, so my 1 out of 3 list is now:

- bigger viewfinder
- 2 stop lower noise than K10D
- high DR

I'm assuming (hoping) I'll get at least one of these so than I'll buy the K-7

And, oh yeah, I'm already planning to sell the K10D and K-m to help fund the K-7. I held off on the K20D upgrade, I got the K-m because I wanted something smaller to use with my Ltds. The K-7 will fit both of these desires for me. On top of that, I use video quite a bit as a baseball coach, and I love the idea of an all-in-one package.
