Wait, what am I doing reading the News and Rumors section???

Well. one of them is form a Moderator and he merely more or less states "moderators in general"so He really applies for one himself. But maybe he is a nice guy and will let you use it for an hour or so.

I am quite honestly not interested in testing the K-7. Perhaps if it comes up to scratch and those testers confirm the fact, I might consider getting a couple.

Now that I am no longer sponsored by Pentax, I am open to all of the possibilities.

Falconeye gets my vote.

And, of course Rice High. He's a measurebator second to none and I'd trust him to come up with a very thorough and balanced report.

I'm not proud. I'll say me me me!! I shoot theater and performance and sports as well so that's different right? That would be a good test of the camera right? Live theater in low light? Action? Right? Right?

Not to sound desparate or needy or anything. lol

(omg) thanks as i'm dying a small death of humiliation and embarassment.

Seriously, in addition to those already named, I think a good tester, as a working photojournalist, would be BrendanPK.

IMHO you should not be, it is a well deserved compliment.

Guys,

since Pentax Germany (or maybe other country as well) is looking for tester for K-7,
and we're here in this forum are the biggest Pentax online community,
why don't we make a list of our eligible members and submit their name to Pentax?

If you agree, please recommend eligible names from this forum members that you think qualified to make the reviews.

Maybe the Moderators can help us with this (ex: to make an official proposal of recommendation to Pentax?). Anyway, where else should Pentax Corp. post their camera's review besides in this forum, right?

This way, they will get the best marketing to their most loyal fan! And we will get to enjoy the new K-7 sooner.
How about that?

Ok I'll start. Since I read a lot of reviews of Pentax gears from HinMan's blog, I will recommend him.
There are some rules: You need to have an online blog to be eligible at all - and they want to get the link and see for themselves, that it is relevant (from Pentax's viewpoin).

Ben
