Vote for K-7 Testers from Pentax Forum!

Guys,

since Pentax Germany (or maybe other country as well) is looking for tester for K-7,
and we're here in this forum are the biggest Pentax online community,
why don't we make a list of our eligible members and submit their name to Pentax?

If you agree, please recommend eligible names from this forum members that you think qualified to make the reviews.

Maybe the Moderators can help us with this (ex: to make an official proposal of recommendation to Pentax?). Anyway, where else should Pentax Corp. post their camera's review besides in this forum, right?

This way, they will get the best marketing to their most loyal fan! And we will get to enjoy the new K-7 sooner.
How about that?

Ok I'll start. Since I read a lot of reviews of Pentax gears from HinMan's blog, I will recommend him.

Most of the people that I am likely to suggest probably already have had experience with the camera - or at least seen a proper photograph of it!!

Upshot: I doubt they need me to vote for them

I would say ME ME ME, but that would sound desparate.
I will go with the flow, but if a tester in the UK is required, doing tests in the rain (esp here in Manchester) then I could consider someone................

I heard through the grapevine that they were recommending some people for K7 testers in the USA...

I thankfully get one loyal vote from Herman. Hey, I may get lucky. That should count as rumor, right!

I am day dreaming for a k-7 and counting down for the real spec. Thank you Herman for the thoughts.

My vote goes to Hinman as well, because of his extensive testing of all sorts of lenses and posting them in his blog. He is an excellent candidate to evaluate this camera.

I vote for friggin' me. Right now, I'll pay shipping.

Actually I'll vote for Falconeye, hinman, and gooshin. Should give us three very different perspectives.

My vote...

Aside from the obvious "me" vote

Then Marc would get my vote.

Look at the database scores!

I'll vote for you, as the "obscure lens compatibility tester".
As for a "robust design tester", I know a professional "breaker" at work (has wounded a number of cameras and other electronics), except he isn't on this forum... so I'll cover for him.

It occurs to me that the product is at the stage where they don't need real testers. They need fan boys to rave about it, get us excited and sell more units so the best approach would be to look at the lens review database and see who has the highest aggregate scoring of Pentax products (more 10's) verses Non-Pentax products and give one to them.
Unfortunately I won't come out on top for that one.

Jeez, that's three times I get props for testing that new DSLR/K-7... There are more than a few deserving folks for that possibility...

Wait, what am I doing reading the News and Rumors section???
